The session incorporated everything I love about Southern California. Warm weather, palm trees, surfing—plus aren’t Amy and Luke such naturals in front of the camera?
We started the session inside this cute house on the beach.
The goal of this shoot was to get images of Amy & Luke that felt raw and real, and not forced or posed.
Imoni Events provided Luke & Amy a little polaroid camera as a prop.
Luke & Amy love the beach, so after our indoor session we walked across the street to capture photos there as the sun began to set.
Luke & Amy are both surfers.
Playful, candid moments like these are were what we were after.
We jumped into the ocean at the end of the session for these images. Totally worth getting a little wet!
The water was a lot colder than it looks!
An incredible sunset to end an incredible session.
