Kate and Ryan’s beautiful wedding was hosted at The Old Field Club on the North Shore of Long Island.
Authenticity was the common thread that ran through Kate and Ryan’s wedding day. Kate created the floral arrangements with her mom. Kate and Ryan read their own funny and romantic vows. And during the reception, the bride and her dad, Rich, sang Paul Simon’s “Father & Daughter”—and both played the guitar—in place of a father-daughter dance. Not too many dry eyes in the crowd after they finished the song!
The next adventure for the newlyweds? They’re exploring the country for six months on an extended honeymoon. Not a bad way to celebrate together!
Kate made the boutonnieres herself!
Instead of a father daughter dance, Kate and her dad did a duet instead to Paul Simon’s Father and Daughter. It was amazing!
Lovely table of desserts. The pies from Schmidts farm were out of this world!
