MEET TOM & HEATHER

Funny enough, I originally went to school for music, not photography! After a brief stint at Sony Records, I realized that though I loved creating and playing music, the business of it was not for me. That happened to be around the same time I fell in love with photographing people. I found many parallels to my formal musical training—I became hooked real fast!

When I'm not taking pictures, I love to travel, snowboard, surf (even in the New York winter), play the piano, guitar and sing (while nagging Heather to join with her violin), paint with oils and watercolors (it’s seriously the most relaxing thing) and have a good ol’ philosophical discussion about the meaning of life.

Surfing has brought so much joy to my life. The ocean is my happy place.

In my free time, I love to paint. Occasionally I use my photographs as a reference!

We love to explore new places; camera in hand and Heather ready to be my last-minute model! 😂

I think one of the reasons I’m on this planet (getting real deep here!) is to encourage others. So being your cheerleader and advocate on your wedding day is kinda my thing, from the little details (pushing a stray hair back from your face or helping you fluff your dress) to the big ones (making sure you get time to truly enjoy your wedding). Our mission, besides taking stunning photographs, is making your day about you, not just about taking pictures.

A little more about me: I love traveling (the best trips are a combo of city & seaside), getting lost in a good book (really into nonfiction lately), random mid-day dance parties at home, meditating, yoga and deep convos (see Tom's love for discussing the meaning of life!). I’m so excited to meet you and your partner. ☺️
