My journey into wedding photography began with my love for music.
As a music major in college, I was convinced I would one day work in the music industry. After a brief job at Sony Records, however, I realized that although I loved playing music, I didn't really love the business of music.
Around that time I began to photograph weddings. I was instantly hooked! With my camera, I could connect with people in a unique way, learning their stories and then artistically telling it through photographs or film.
As your wedding photographer, I get to play an important role while celebrating with you on one of the most exciting days of your life—I don't think a job can get much better than that!
Before I was a wedding photographer, I worked for Apple for nine years.
I’m an avid surfer and snowboarder, even surfing in the winter (where the water reaches a balmy 36 degrees Fahrenheit!).
I play the piano, guitar, and sing, and have played in a few bands.
I love to travel and see the world. Few things put our lives in perspective like meeting new people and seeing new places.
I’m a deep thinker and love philosophy. I even thought about majoring in it in college.
In addition to photography, I also enjoy oil painting. Sometimes I'll even make a painting out of my photographs!
Using what I've learned from photographing over 100 weddings, I’ve designed an experience for you that keeps things simple, straightforward and fun!
